Have
you ever witnessed a resident driving through your apartment community with
trash on the hood or roof of their car? It is dangerous,
but sometimes the only way to get trash to the dumpster without a leaky mess
inside the resident’s car. I did
the same thing on a regular basis.
We only had one compactor and it was outside the complex gates. This was incredibly frustrating as a
resident. Every few days I would
be rushing off to work, dressed in my nice clothes, and trying to load several
bags of leaky trash onto my car.
Half of the time a speed bump would knock a bag off the car! Not the
best way to start a day.
